The SR is a limited release .22LR suppressor platform originally launched in 2024, engineered to deliver exceptionally high suppression from a compact, lightweight form factor. Designed around maximum efficiency, SR set a new benchmark for sound reduction relative to size, while maintaining durability through additive manufacturing. The original SR configuration featured a serviceable design with a removable end cap for ease of maintenance and long-term performance, and full compatibility across both pistol and rifle hosts. In 2025, the platform evolved with the secondary launch of SR. This second version is a refined, single piece construction developed to supersede both SR/A1 and ALLEYCAT 22. SR consolidates the performance characteristics of its predecessors into a monolithic architecture, improving structural rigidity, consistency, and longevity while retaining the exceptional suppression the SR line is known for. The result is a cleaner, more robust system optimized for modern .22LR use without compromising weight or balance. The SR platform, culminating in SR, represents CAT’s highest expression of compact rimfire suppression. It is purpose built for .22LR applications only and is not compatible with 5.7mm systems.
