The SR is a limited release .22LR suppressor platform originally launched in 2024, engineered to deliver exceptionally high suppression from a compact, lightweight form factor. Designed around maximum efficiency, SR set a new benchmark for sound reduction relative to size, while maintaining durability through additive manufacturing. The original SR/A1 configuration featured a serviceable design with a removable end cap for ease of maintenance and long-term performance, and full compatibility across both pistol and rifle hosts. In 2025, the platform evolved with the secondary launch of SR/A2. This second version is a refined, single piece construction developed to supersede both SR/A1 and ALLEYCAT 22. SR/A2 consolidates the performance characteristics of its predecessors into a monolithic architecture, improving structural rigidity, consistency, and longevity while retaining the exceptional suppression the SR line is known for. The result is a cleaner, more robust system optimized for modern .22LR use without compromising weight or balance. The SR platform, culminating in SR/A2, represents CAT’s highest expression of compact rimfire suppression. It is purpose built for .22LR applications only and is not compatible with 5.7mm systems.
